MY

RESEARCH

I am currently pursuing a PhD in TU Dublin, supervised by Dr. Lucia Walsh and Dr. Ziene Mottiar

My research aims to contribute to our understanding of the under-explored area of the growth stages of social enterprises, with a focus on factors of scaling.

Objectives:

  • Explore the characteristics of social enterprises that have pursued growth.

  • Identify the key factors that trigger the strategy to grow.

  • Determine strategies used for growth.

  • Uncover reasons for unsuccessful growth.

  • Establish areas of support needed to encourage the successful growth of social enterprises.
